Det som skiller Fyne Audio sin FA500-serie fra stort sett alle andre custom install høyttalere er at FA500 er bygget rundt en ekte faseriktig punktkilde-driver hvor diskanten er hornladet og sitter montert bak bass/mellomtone-elementet. Lydmessig gir dette et klarere, renere og mer homogent lydbilde.
Teknologien er hentet fra Fyne Audio sine Hi-Fi - høyttalere som igjen er en videreutvikling av Tannoy sine legendariske Dual Concentric-drivere . FA501iC gir stor og detaljert lyd med imponerende tyngde og dybde i bassen. Spesiellt imponerende er den høye følsomheten (91db) koblet med et frekvensområde som spenner fra 40Hz til 34kHz. Optimalt for dagens høyoppløste formater.
Selve driveren er 6" stor med en kuttdybde på under 10cm.
