8011 AM er en kraftig, men kompakt monoblock-effektforsterker på hele 25kg hver. Her snakker vi krefter i overflod til å drive nær sagt hva det skal være. Effekten er meget konservativt oppgitt til 210W per kanal (8 Ohm RMS) noe som skulle holde for de fleste.
Lydmessig er disse forsterkerne noe av det beste vi har hørt. Klangkarakteren er meget nøytral, men framstår som litt varm og fyldig da den har en total mangel på forvrengning. Fra den mest delikate pianissimo til den mest involverende fortissimo vil forsterkeren trylle det beste ut av høyttalerne dine samtidig som dynamikk og kontroll, spesielt i de nederste oktavene, er på referansenivå.
Kombinert med en MBL 121 eller 116 vil du oppleve en naturtrohet og evne til å engasjere du knapt trodde var mulig.
