RB-61 er i bunn og grunn lik som RB-51, men med større kabinett, større basselement (6,5”) og betydelig mer trøkk.
Denne høyttaleren spiller meget overbevisene på all slags musikk og går liniært ned til 43Hz (+- 3db) i bassområdet, ganske imponerende til en stativhøyttaler å være! Dette er selvfølgelig noe Klipsch også er kjent for, og gjøres mulig med overdimensjonerte magnetmotorer og meget effektive Cerametallic-elementer.

Exclusive Tractrix® Horns have always been the
key component of this critically acclaimed series.
In the RB-61, this technology has been refined to
include improved throat geometry for a more
genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a
1-inch titanium tweeter with a large ceramic
motor structure to provide a unique combination
of precision, clarity and effortless power.
The RB-61 employs a 6.5-inch woofer for a
solid bass foundation. This Cerametallic™
woofer with inverted copper dust cap exhibits a
very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb
damping characteristics.
The RB-61’s front-firing port eliminates
turbulence noise and makes installation into
custom cabinetry a breeze. Increased baffle
ribbing around the horn mouth dramatically
improves acoustics across the sonic range.
For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the
crossover on the RB-61 features the finest
components and Klipsch custom internal wiring.
Available in either a cherry or black woodgrain
vinyl finish, the RB-61 comes with a lowdiffraction,
magnetically attached grille to further
accentuate the elegance of this speaker.
